Busan: Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness
The Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness was held from 29 November to 1 December 2011 in Busan, Republic of Korea. The conference follows the High Level Forums held in Rome (2003), Paris (2005) and Accra (2008) and concludes the OECD/DAC-led process on aid effectiveness launched by the Paris Declaration in 2005. The Busan High Level Forum is a major milestone and turning point for the global aid effectiveness agenda, charts future directions for more effective development aid and contributes towards a new international aid architecture as follow-up to the Paris process.
