Institute for Capacity Development
The Institute for Capacity Development (ICD) is a regional and continental provider of general and customized courses aimed at developing capacity and skills that enhance national development. The focus of ICD short courses is to continuously capacitate the skills of staff and decision makers in development institutions, government, parastatals, NGOs, in communities and the civil society
What we can contribute:
As a Capacity Development Institution we see ICD contributing to discussions on how best capacity within Africa can be sustainably developed. ICD also looks at contributing on ongoing debate on results based capacity development. Liking Capacity Development to national development and overall Problem of poverty in Africa
What we are looking for:
- Platform to contribute on Capacity Gaps in Africa
- Training and Development Opportunities at Government level
- Training opportunities for RECs and NGOs
- Training Partners and funding opportunities for specific Africa wide and region wide targeted short courses
- Writing Research articles that add to the capacity development agenda

Based in Namibia but training delegates from all over Africa
