Integrated Avenues of Compassion

Integrated Avenues of Compassion was established in 2008. The need for establishing the organization was arrived at after looking at the need for a coordination centre that would support the running of the various development programs in the district/constituency. The organisation is committed towards supporting the achievement of sustainable development among the rural poor with special emphasis in supporting the women and the youth who are the most affected. In this respect we coordinate development program that are designed to  create opportunities that are geared toward fighting poverty alleviation, environmental management, support education, health services provision i.e. managing the spread of HIV/AIDS, agriculture,  tourism development and marketing, establishment  micro-industries, energy and livestock development.

What we can contribute: 

We see ourselves as an organization that will support learning process at the grass roots thus provide a platform upon which we can inform policy or research.  As a young organization, with time we shall add value to programs through active participation and engagement.

What we are looking for: 

We seek collaboration with LenCD  that will help in developing wide integrated agri-service programs targeting small scale farmers by providing multiple agri-related services (agro-advisory, agri-inputs, finance and marketing) as single window to the farming community.

We are looking for partners who can support our efforts in the following fields:

  1. Environment conservation( mitigation and adaptation to climate change)
  2. Technology transfer in latest technologies in agriculture i.e. green house farming, modern fish farming.
  3. Enterprise development ie forest related enterprises like bee keeping.
  4. Value addition and establishment of E-Extension service.
Where we work: 

We work  in Webuye, Bungoma county, in Kenya.  We are also present in Nairob.
